GRADY RAPE CRISIS CENTER
Grady offers 24-hour medical treatment and crisis support for victims and family. Support during evidence collection, and ongoing support for victims (including accompanying victims to court and providing individual and family counseling. No charge for pelvic exam, collection for evidence, and initial medication. Spelman College can provide students with transportation to Grady in case of a sexual assault.

Day League provides direct services, prevention education, and advocacy for youth and adult survivors of sexual assault, their families and the community as a whole.  Day League helps survivors of sexual violence forge a new beginning, not only to survive their ordeal, but also to become strengthened by it.

CLAYTON COUNTY - SOUTHERN CRESCENT SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER
The Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center (SCSAC), formerly known as the Clayton Rape Crisis Center provides services to survivors of sexual assault in the South Metro area. SCSAC also provides hospital accompaniment 24 hours a day, seven days a week for victims, victim advocacy, individual counseling, support groups, a 24-hour crisis line, and community education programs for children, youth and adults of all ages.

Gwinnett Sexual Assault Center & Children’s Advocacy Center (GSAC-CAC) is nationally recognized for its exceptional delivery of comprehensive services to victims and families impacted by crimes of sexual assault and child sexual/ physical abuse. Services provided are developmentally appropriate and specialized to meet the distinctive needs of each individual impacted by crimes of sexual violence. There is no charge to victims that receive direct-services from GSAC-CAC.

LIVESAFE RESOURCES
The YWCA of Northwest Georgia has several support services to help victim-survivors of sexual assault, including Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners available 24 hours a day to provide medical forensic examinations for sexual assault victims, a 24-hour crisis line, and counseling and support groups.

NORTHWEST GEORGIA FAMILY CRISIS CENTER
A 24-hour hotline is available to facilitate crisis intervention, access placement in the shelter, and provide information about shelter and outreach services. Other services include support group, parenting programs, individual counseling, legal advocacy including assistance with filing TPO’s, accompaniment to court, and filing of victim compensation, follow-up services after the client leaves the shelter, outreach services, limited transportation assistance, education groups, and information and referral.

PARTNERSHIP AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

ATLANTA VOLUNTEER LAWYER FOUNDATION
The AVLF Domestic Violence Project’s Safe Families Office (SFO) is Georgia’s only courthouse-based attorney-staffed walk-in clinic offering legal protection and safety planning to the victims of family violence and stalking. Victims who seek safety from intimate partner violence, child abuse, or elder abuse in Fulton County – and who want the protection that the law can provide – should come to the SFO in the Fulton County Courthouse.

File a Complaint with the Office of Civil Rights

If you have concerns about the way in which an institution is handling a Title IX violation, you have the right to file a formal complaint with the Office of Civil Rights. The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) handles all Title IX complaints. Generally, an OCR complaint must be filed within 180 days of the incident. Electronic complaint forms can be found on the OCR’s website.
