Pushpa
Parekh
is
a Professor
in
English
and the Director of the Honors Program at Spelman. She
teaches
various courses including: "New
U.S.
Immigrant
Women's
Literature", “Contemporary
African
Literature,” "Victorian and Modern British
Literature", "Postcolonial Theory and Women’s
Literature", "Images of Women in Non-Western Literature",
and "African Diaspora and the World". Her publications
include
two books:

Hopkins,
Francis
Thompson,
Lionel
Johnson,
and Dylan Thomas (
Peter
Lang,
1998)
and a
co-edited
volume,
Postcolonial
African
Writers:
